Unhappy UNISA alumni
I am a student of UNISA and have completed my HR Diploma with the university and thereafter went on to complete a BCOM HR as well, I am trying my very best to get three modules to be transferred across to get a letter of completion for this degree. I have received feedback from Mrs S Nel and was advised this cannot be done, I also did not appreciate the tone in which she responded as I am a student of the University with enquiries that affects my future. These three modules are completed but now must be re-done and this does not make any sense to me, I completed both at the University and I find this not to be reason enough to re-do modules that I paid to complete and I have been credited for. What could be a reason for this ? I have done the required and passed , I thereafter did the required and passed for co-requisites and pre-requisites of those exact modules.
I have taken this to the ombudsman and was declined , I did not receive proper feedback regarding the reasons behind students who have completed a qualification with UNISA needing to have modules exempted in order for them to further their qualification, example from an NQF 6 to an NQF 7 .
I was just given a policy and told read section 10 , this does not answer my question nor resolve my issue.
