Save yourself the trouble- DO NOT REGISTER AT UNISA

<p>I have never recieved such disgusting service in my life.</p> <p>I selected courier upon regisering and have been fighting Unisa ever since as they always send my study material via post.</p> <p>The south african postal system is inefficient and so is Unisa.</p> <p>You recieve your material 2 months after you need it ( and mind you, you are paying for the courier service and for the printed out material that you dont recieve).</p> <p>They then tell you that there is " New protocol" whereby everything gets sent via post but responses from the despatch department say something completely different .</p> <p>I have friends and colleagues who receive all their unisa material via courier. - sounds like this " New protocol" is a lie in order to ***** money from people who already cant afford to attend a better institution.</p> <p> </p> <p>They deregister the wrong modules and ask you to pay registration fees twice in order to reregister the module that they incorrectly deregistered.</p> <p>The finance department then takes 2 weeks to realise that they made a mistake and need to correct it.</p> <p>You then forfeit R450 to deregiser during the registration period which is an Admin fee to load 1 module.</p> <p>I had to deregister becasue the module overview failed to mention that you would need to install software and work on a programme to successfully pass the module. That information is very different to " You need internet access to read your study material" - which was the information supp****.</p> <p> </p> <p>It takes you countless phonecalls every day for weeks just to get through to anyone.</p> <p>Unisa is only after money- do not believe otherwise.</p> <p> </p> <p>They are a greedy, poor excuse of an educational institution.</p> <p>I will inform everyone i meet of how Unisa runs so that they are not sucked in unsuspectingly.</p> <p> </p> <p>Carte Blanche needs to investigate.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
