One application period for 2016

I would like to know why after all these years, Unisa decides to have 1 application period?<br> <br> I am so upset because when I initially app****, I only had to upload my documents which was the next day and the next day the application period ended.<br> <br> I was not despondent because I knew that in 6 months time, I could reapply. Only to find out that there's 1 application period. <br> <br> Can you please explain because now I'm losing a full year of studies? <br> <br> *Please show me you care by replying to this message, it will be appreciated.
