No Tangible Feedback since 2016 from UNISA Student Accounts since 2013

Sine 2013 - I have been battling with the UNISA Student Fees Dept. To date, I am still being passed around since nobody wants to take accountability. I have even tried emailing senior members who pass me off to someone else again who cannot or will not help.

I have been passed from person to person, also between the Central Finance Office and the CPT Finance Office - both rival each other in terms of unwillingness to assist.

I understand UNISA is a large organization but I cannot comprehend how a matter can take almost a decade to resolve. I currently work in higher education and have done so for many years - this is unheard of. Students are the reason higher institutions exist is it not?

(1) Why has it taken UNISA so long to provide any feedback about any fees owing (Since 2013???) (2) I have added payments on my alleged fee account. Where did these charges come from? I would not have been able to enrol if I had not paid the registration fees etc? My bank disputes any wrongdoing from their side and money DID go to UNISA. (3) This account even prescribed. I had since been told my account was sold to a debt collector. Again - this account prescribed. I had spent a lot of time and energy trying to obtain my fee account before this and received nothing. So on what grounds was the debt sold? Who was notified? Please send me proof of these communications I am alleged to have received. Again - this amount prescribed since UNISA did not at any point contact me and this amount prescribed

I am more than happy to seek legal advice on this matter as nothing I say seems to help or result in any action. I have over fifty reference numbers from UNISA in the past two months. All of this has resulted in no tangible feedback.

If UNISA refuses to address this matter, I demand this in writing so I can understand why. I would also like the above three points addressed. I need my results and now I honestly regret ever studying at UNISA and would encourage anyone thinking of doing so to ensure they have a decade to spend chasing after people who cannot be bothered.

I anticipate a timely response in the above matter.
