NO SERVICE IN PUTTING STUDIES ON HOLD

Good day,

My fiancé was hospitalized in July 2016 and it was recommended by his treating doctors to take time off his studies with Unisa. We went through to Port Elizabeth branch and spoke with Siseko Nami, who advised us to email him a letter from the treating doctor and they will place the studies on hold. We were copied in on the emails sent on 10 August 2016 and 25 August 2016 from the respective doctors.

Up until now, we have heard nothing at all. We reside in Jeffreys Bay so cannot simply walk into their premises. I have been trying to contact them on ********** for 4 days straight with no answer. I have even resorted to contacting Varsity College in Ring Road to ask them to assist - the response was that the above-mentioned contact number is indeed the correct one, but that there are a mere 3 staff members working there, with a queue out the door.

I have tried all numbers - I only got through to a certain Vusi on Friday, who checked the system and could see nothing regarding the studies put on hold and that there is an outstanding amount.

I have left an email on UNISA's website which states we will get feedback within 5 hours - I am still waiting,

This is highly frustrating and nobody is getting back to us!
