<p>Unisa prides itself as an open distance learning university. </p> <p>And you would think that a university of such a calibre would have the basics of open distance learning matered however, that is notthe case when it comes to Unisa. </p> <p>The Bursary and Loans department - Never answers calls, the phone rings for ages and when you try to redial the number is busy. When I send them e-mails I receive both a delivery and read receipt but they do not reply. </p> <p>The Lectures - Some lectures simply don't care about the students who spend thousands of Rands to study. </p> <p>Finance Department - The Finance department can easily send emails, letters and sms with regards to outstanding balances but they are slow to refund claims. </p> <p> </p>
