Missing a Semester Due to my application not being processed

I processed an application in January 2025 and have been awaiting feedback until today 12th March 2025. My application status still shows as awaiting processing. I decided to call the institution and i am being told my application has still not been processed and that registration is closed and i must wait and reapply in second semester. The consultant stated that its not my fault that my application has not been touched but it is the fault of Unisa however i must still wait until second semester to reapply as nothing can be done with my current application that they did not process because "i don't know why" , SO although it is not my fault that they left my application on pending i must still miss out on 6 months of schooling because someone at UNISA is not doing what they are hired to do. It disappointing as i am a first time applicant at UNISA and i am starting to regret the decision to want to study at the institution. I am scared to imagine how studying at UNIUSA will be if the application process is a problem. The worst part is not receiving any feedback from the institution via email or call or anything. You end up calling to just get disappointed on the line.
