Laptop Complaint
On Tuesday morning I received my laptop delivery and it wasn't the Lenovo notebook that I was told I was gonna receive on the email that was sent to me on the LENOVO V30 or LENOVO V145 brand/model instead I received a Mecer wizard 2.0.
I decided to speak to Mr Nkosi from Kultech the appointed supplier who advised me due to the "Lockdown restrictions" they didn't receive any stock for the LENOVO notebooks hence they sent me a Mecer notebook.
1. No communication was sent to me regarding the changes. 2. I wasn't given any options to choose from I was just sent something that I feel it's just a total *******. 3. This Mecer laptop is much cheaper than R5000 that was deducted from LMA it's retail price is R2799 at Pep I know this information because I work for as a Cellular Help desk Operator and I deal with the complaints of this "Mecer notebook" which is problematic. 4. I've done research based on the Lenovo notebook that I was supposed to receive and it's specifications it has 1Tb hard drive compared to the mecer which has only 64 gigabyte hard drive.
To simply to put this I feel really sad and cheated honestly, I know the funds to pay for the notebook were procured through NSFAS but that doesn't mean that I should be ********** as I'm the one whose going to payback this amount at the end of the day and yet I'm left with a soar taste in my mouth.
I chose this option of the Laptop thinking this is going to be a benefit for my studies instead it's becoming a hindrance on my side. I now have a sealed laptop which doesn't have none of the qualities that was promised to me. I don't want sound like I'm being ungrateful but put yourself in my shoes how would you feel if the same thing happened to you.
I hope this mail/letter will reach the right person who would assist me.
