External examination of LLM dissertation

In November 2023, I externally examined an LLM mini dissertation for the Department of ******** and Procedural Law. It is now 10 May 2024, and I have yet to be remunerated for the service rendered. The claim has been rejected twice by the Department of Finance at the institution. So, now I have to question whether the relevant administrative assistant knows what they are doing.
