I am honestly disappointed in the service we getting from Unisa in the offices based in Vereeniging. My younger sister (who is a foster care child) is a first year student at Unisa has been requesting for proof that she's registered and studying with Unisa for the welfare offices. This is important because they need to apply for her foster care grant which will help paying for her fees since she did not get NASFAS.
Now the office can not just simply send this to her they keep telling us we need to make an appointment in order to see someone who can help us and we were given a number To call to make that appointment and emails which are never rep**** and the number which is impossible to get through!
I know due to covid 19 it's hard to make one on one contact but honestly if we there already and requesting such an important document why should we be sent back to go call a number which is never answered. What is going to happen if she does not pay her fees due to such neglegance? Please kindly advice on what other procedures can we follow to just get that one page document please
