Disadvantaged by uninformed *********** staff member

Good evening

I have full intent to take on the university of South Africa. When second semester commenced, I realized that I could not register for a year module in the second semester which my own human error. I however phoned the office asking if there is anything I can do to still graduate this year and complete my qualification. To my dismay, I was told that there was nothing I can do. When I asked if I can do an F1 consesssion, I was refused as it seems the person on the line clearly did not know what I was talking about.

I have been disadvantaged as I just found out that I could have taken an extra module to get the credits I need. Now I will not have the opportunity to graduate alongside my peers next year.

I want to know what you, University of South africa is going to do about this. I will take this to the Department Of Education if this is not resolved. The day I spoke to Unisa, I tried every solution to make sure I can still complete my qualification this year. They clearly did not know that they are setting me back one year for just one module, Sck3703. I am a good student and would've gone the extra mile if it meant I could graduate. They could've just told me to apply for the F1 concession but I was told you don't offer it.

Please get back to me before the end of the day or I will seek the help of the Department of Education.
