Apathy.inefficiency. Students set back up to a year in studies

Worst institution. Apathetic staff. Emailing college for months. No one assists. No one answers phones. Everyone refers you to other people. I know of dozens of individuals who have been forced to put studies on hold for a semester or a year due to staff not assisting students. Staff misinform students which may not be intentional. One staff member intimidated me physically. Finances are incorrect. Their finance programs don't work. Staff have to sit with a calculator and their systems don't acknowledge your registration or applications. Their tech is terrible. Myunisa page is useless and never has your information correct. Lecturers and staff ignore emails and requests for assistance. Only 2 lecturers assisted me or referred me to other staff. I emailed at least 20 lecturers, staff, head of departments. They phased out degrees without informing students. When they tried to register they were informed that their degrees were phased out and had to reapply but they had to apply by September 2018. But only informed in January 2019. My program is being phased out but fortunately I can continue. Hundreds of other students were left in the dark and have to reapply, pay outrageous fees and are delayed by 6 months and will most probably have to do even more modules. Website is poorly designed and riddledeveloped with errors and issues. Self registration stations do not work. One registration is struggled for two hours because the system was not working then had to go to advisory services which I had to sit in a queue for hours and now they are not allowed to register your modules for you. I had to do an internship and they took a month and a half to process it. They also recorded the wrong dates two times. My supervisors changed three or four times. Supervisors did not show up for meetings and caused disruptions to the processes of institutions that graciously took us on. Now they refuse to accept unisa students.
