After 4 years and a lot of money, UNISA holds my degree hostage

I studied with UNISA for 4 years to get my bachelor of education. The work wasn’t too complicated, but I had to assist myself all the way. If I ever had a technical issue or a question, I had to figure it out myself. Emails are never answered. You jump through hoops and email 20 different people just to get the same or no response. No one picks up a telephone, if they even work. I wrote my last exam in November 2020. Here we are in May 2021. After begging I finally received my letter of completion in April…. It’s the last day of May and after they sent that letter stating they would send out certificates “as soon as possible”, I have still not received a thing. Once again, I get no response. I have no idea how or when it will be sent. Now they release an announcement saying students have to pick up their certificates at certain locations far away from myself and many other stufents… so now I will have to drive for hours and spend more money just to go pick up something they promised to send out? They sent them out previously, so why not now all of a sudden? I am absolutely over UNISA and their non existent service.
