Admin non- existent

<p>Where do I start.... I have had endless issues with UNISA and if there was any other option for correspondence studing for my degree I would not be with them at all. The current issue I am having with them is the following: Last year I had app**** for exemptions on a couple of modules , they had not rep**** or finalized any of them until after this years registration period which is what I had feared what would happen. In the mean time I was advised by their staff members to register online for these subjects I wished to be exempeted from as I could not go onto the next module without the prelimary module (which I requested to be exempted the previous year). I had registered for the modules and decided that I will not do the modules as I cannot afford to do them . I cancelled my registration for the modules BEFORE registration period ended. They however, because of the lack of administration, did not cancel my module until AFTER registration period and then claimed that I should still pay for half the course which I am not attending . I have sent numerous mails and phoned numerous people but when I log onto my unisa student portal I am unable to view results as it says that I still owe them for this module. I only recieved one reply from ALL the mails from a lecturer who was unfrienly and unhelpful (not the first time either). I get the automated emails to say that my email has been recieved but no one gets back to me. With the exams comming up I am not sure where to go from here or who to speak to anymore with this regards. If I can give any advice, if unisa is not your absolute last resort, DO NOT use them!</p>
