Shocking, absolutely shocking!!!

I was looking around for a new snooker cue the other day as my previous one was a fairly cheap one, so I was looking to upgrade to something nicer since my game had improved somewhat. When I called union bil****ds to query about one of their cues a woman answered, she seemed polite as I went about asking about certain aspects of the cue I wanted to purchase. I wanted to know what grade of ash was used, what the woods/veneer where used in the splicing of the butt and also the diameter and the brand of tip they used. I was asked to hold while she spoke to someone, when she got back I was told that she could not tell me anything other than the tip was 10mm and it was an "unbranded" tip, nobody in the factory knew anything else about this cue or any other cue for that matter. What kind of clown show is this? "Making the finest pool and snooker accessories for over 50 years"?? A mate of mine bought a cue from them and I inspected it, took a micrometer to the "10mm" tip and found it to be 9.22mm. The finish was horrid to say the least, absolutely not what I expected from a R2000 cue, and then he had to re-tip it with a blue diamond himself too. No thank you, I will not be purchasing anything from union bil****ds, I'll rather save and get something imported.
