Unilever - Taking loyal consumers for a “dirty” ride
I have always been a huge fan of Unilever brands as the quality of the products are great. Definitely more pricey but worth it. However, I was cleaning our bathrooms last week and found the consistency of Handy Andy to be very watery and normally when one shakes the bottle it return to normal. Nope, nothing worked, so cut the bottle open to discover that the “product “ settled in a powder form?? Like Vim. I literally had to use a knife to loosen it. Now here is the issue. Having never really had a problem with Unilever products, it means that the product is of an inferior quality. cheap ingredients. yet we pay a premium for the product as we believe we are getting a well known great product. I now question everything I buy from Unilever. Sunlight liquid quality has also gone south as well as Skip. Especially in the current economic climate where one watches all spending. Not worth paying those prices if the quality is compromised. I am on
