Unilever at it again!
It`s with a shame and a heavy heart to share this review, watching a well oiled machine being turned into a piece of s****... but the truth shall set us all free! We have eventually come to the tither of our patience and hard work, determination and dedication being sold wholesale for the enrichment of just a few. Unilever Maydon wharf has reached that point, PHAHLE has done all his best to kill the organisation from within. To make ourselves more clear we`ll touch base on a few incidents that have taken place prior the Plandemic and there after. We had a visit from Minister Sihle Zikalala who came onsite not to come look at the new boiler house but to encourage the company which is in the private sector to upskill and absorb the youth into industry. That was the turning point. Phahle you quickly developed a training center for all employees to undergo upskilling, and you had promised us all that we`ll get a chance, not even 50% got to training, there after the project was abandoned no reason whatsoever, yet you got the kickback from government for providing the training, god only knows how you manipulated the numbers to get that much kickback. By the way training facility is totally delapidated. Moving along to the Plandemic. From the beginning all you have ever done throughout is feed us lies, you and Brighton Hama. You made us believe we were essential yet that wasn`t the case. A huge relief fund was received by Maydon wharf, Brighton addressing us said " each and every employee will receive R2800 for risking working through this plandemic, including contractors; the amount changed to R3000. Upon payment after a long wait, we found that majority of employees were paid short not even close to the R3k that was promised to top it all off you made sure that it gets paid out with the salary so that tax can reduce it to nothing. Yet Brighton you promised that wasn`t going to happen. You then tried skeeming in 4 shift in order for you to gain. Then we had 3 employees test positive for covid19, you sent them home to quarantine and yet you Brighton recalled them to work before completing the required quarantining period. You put the rest of the employees at risk and in turn the customers were also going to be at risk. You Brighton, said your ordering special masks made in Germany and not China, but guess what, we are using Chinese produced masks! Phahle you then put out a tender hush hush to your chosen benefector to produce cotton masks, the tender wasn`t advertised but surprisingly someone`s wife received it, and made the masks. This whole plandemic has been a **** from the start and we`ve been watching. Employing Learners under the guise of the Learnership program knowing very well you will use them as cheap labour, and we know they not aware that you`ve converted them into Temps without changing or amending their contracts to Temps. Do your superiors know about all the shenanigans going onsite or they just waiting for their profit share, since that`s what Unilever is all about now, profit. The people responsible working day and night don`t matter, who cares. Phahle pushed to install hoists in the factory as it seemed like a brilliant idea, whatever happened as not one is operational, how many millions you spent on them? Another failed project. Phahle you came to a well oiled machine, and you breaking it down by the day. Lines stop because there`s no material or product, as it`s happening now. We tons of waste both in Personal wash and PP, yet you don`t care and it`s not the first time this is happening. You made big talk about managing waste and look at where we are? Do your suoeriors know how you rig Audits, hiding certain contractors when there`s a visitor; how smart of you to efficiently construct a Covid19 Isolation area when the personnel from Dept. of Health came on site. Brighton you make promises to pay upgrades to GO`s and then go back on your words. When exactly will the lying stop? You denounce job reservations, you say that all will get an equal opportunity in applying, and yet you reserved 2 jobs for certain individuals held close to your bosom. Phahle you played with employees Pension fund! You moved employees pension fund from Alexander Forbes to Sanlam without any prior consultation, and you sent your puppets to come address us after the deal was signed and sealed. You are aware of the discrepencies in the funds, and yes there`s a loss incurred by the employees, you don`t care. Bare in mind this is employees pensions your gambling with. In the 20 odd years I`ve worked at Unilever this has got to be the worst 2 years while your at the helm, watching the positive culture and winning spirits in employees being drained like this is just unbearable. Watching a pleasant environment slowly turning into a correctional facility and we guess your the head warden. The way in which Brighton bullies GO`s is not pleasant to watch and hear. The same Unilever talks against job reservation, bullying, safety, quality, we have policies all over but the same people enforcing them, are the ones breaking them. Who is guarding the guards one might ponder. At some point, the lying has to stop! Phahle it was smart of you to send some employees home to quarantine, knowing you it wasn`t about quarantining them, but you also wanted to play along as a boss that pays their employees while at home, it makes you look good. We`ll leave it hear for now...
