Horrible Ice cream
I recently purchased 3 packs of magnum minis from Game and to my disappointment I found that every one of those ice creams were full of ice. It was literally ice covered in chocolate. Needless to say that nobody enjoyed the ice cream and threw most of it away. I can assure you that this is not my fault as I live 10 minutes away from the store. I'm extremely disappointed as I paid over R120 for *******.

Please advise

30 Oct 2015, 08:29Hello ashley1234,
Thank you for contacting us regarding Magnum Minis ice cream you purchased. We are truly sorry for the delay and inconvenience caused. Which flavour Magnum Minis did you purchase? Please provide the best before date and batch numbers for factory investigation. The fact that the ice creams were icy would suggest that the product had been heatshocked. This happens when the product is not maintained at the correct temperature, melts and is refrozen. Under these conditions the quality of the product deteriorates. Unfortunately Ola has little control over the cold chain once products are delivered to the store. It is our experience that from time to time the store freezers do not maintain the products at the correct temperature, which could account for the heatshock. Which Game store did you purchase it from? I will then forward your complaint to our field marketer to check fridges at in the store. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Kind regards
