Flimsy Dove earbuds

I bought a pack of *Dove* ear buds today from my local convenience store. The cotton on the end became very loose when using the ear buds and almost came off in my ear from the stick while using.

I've known very cheap brand to do this (ie imported flimsy). I am concerned for my ear health and of others as I am sure people have had this happen with this brand.
