Order placed 4 months ago and still nothing

I placed an order for a school winter jacket, for my son, at this shop the end of May. I paid R300 as deposit. I have made numerous calls to the shop since June, July, August, September and current. No one contacted me regarding my order as to why there was no jacket in the shop. I contacted the owner early in September and he explained that there was a delay in the material. He promised that the jacket will be done in a week. And guess what? It's the 3 October and still no jacket. I told them Since it is 4 months later and do not want the jacket but would like my money. I called the shop yesterday telling the assistant to let the manager know that I'm sending someone to fetch the money. The person just went there now, messaged me to say there is no money. The assistant sent the manager a message and he didn't reply.
