Unifi SA has policies that effectively damage their clients credit profile

If possible I wouldn't even give this company one star as it definitely doesn't deserve it, the fact that a financial services provider has active policies in place that can hinder or even hurt their clients credit record is shocking. I made a loan with them, and my pay date is the 27th monthly, they have a policy in place that states if my payday falls on a Monday they will try take their debit order on the Friday before, some idiot there thought that if someone is only getting paid on a Monday that must definitely mean they will be rolling in the cash 5 days before, what's even scarier is another seconded that thought and agreed that it was a good idea. So now because they decided that they want to debit long before I get paid, and there obviously wasn't money for the debit, they have no choice but to update my credit profile with a bad payment or missed payment report. So just a warning doing business with Unifi can be very hazardous to your credit score and profile. If you want my advice stay far far away, your credit profile will thank you.

Hi Gary, we're trying to contact you to explain. We debited your account as per your loan agreement, in which you agreed that if you get paid on a Monday we may track your debit order from the previous Friday, since some employees get paid the Friday if their pay date falls on a Monday. The agreement stipulates that you need to let us know if your pay date falls on a Monday and we must debit on the Monday. This will not affect your credit record as it is not considered a skipped payment if a payment is made. Please get in touch on *** or email us at ***it if you have any further queries. Have an easy day!
