Unifi loans
I app**** for credit and I was turned down as I am paid fortnightly (the company I work for gave us the options to be paid monthly or fortnightly) I chose fortnightly but this is apparently bad when applying for a loan. After turning down my loan application they tried on 2 separate occasions to deduct just over R1800 from my savings account. Beware of this company.

12 Mar 2025, 08:09Hi Brenda, we've tried to reach you without success and wanted to inform you about our application process. One of our company's criteria is that applicants should receive a monthly salary. Once you start receiving your salary on a monthly basis, you're more than welcome to reapply. Regarding the DebiCheck process: as part of the application, we ask you to authorize a debit order with your bank. This confirms that your account is eligible for credits and debits. You'll receive a request from your bank to confirm the new debicheck payment information. If your loan isn't approved or you change your mind, the debicheck is immediately canceled. If you have any questions, please call us at ***.
