UNIFI reaping off customers

I would like to share my worst experience and incompetence that I got from UNIFI Loans. I have a loan with UNIFI and when I call them to arrange a settlement, I am told that the account is closed on their side and I must call the attorneys as the account is handed over. According to the credit bureau I am owing UNIFI X amount which was last updated in February 2024. When I call the attorneys I am told that I am owing a doubled amount which UNIFI is failing to provide me me with a detailed statement of my account. They are trying to reap me off and oppressing my rights as a customer. My life is now stuck because of UNIFI and they are refusing to remove my name from the credit bureau as they told me that they can't assist me with anything as my account is closed on their side. If they have closed my account they must remove my name from the credit bureau. What they are doing is against the law and all their contact centre agents are so *********** and so quick to drop the calls because they don't have answers. UNIFI must remove my name from the credit bureau or offer me a settlement so I pay off the account. I have no business with the attorneys who are in a game of reaping poor South Africans off their hard earned money. I have escalated this matter to the Ombudsman. UNIFI must sort out this mess and stop oppressing me.
