How an owner can undo an employees best-efforts...
Complaint x2:
1st complaint: your driver of Unicab D104 blocked the lane in a very busy part of the Waterfront yesterday around 4.20pm yesterday, Wednesday 06th Feb.
He had his hand out the window, and SEEMED to be touting for business, in other words more than just waving at a Mate, whilst crawling along; he then stopped, blocking the left hand lane, we tooted politely, waited, got no acknowledgement, then hooted louder, he flapped his hand for us to pass by him on right hand lane, but traffic had backed up behind him, and he stopped so abruptly we did not have a gap to pass him.
When stopped, he was stopped for a while – say at least 35-40 seconds… (bear in mind I waited a while, climbed out, confronted him, climbed back into our vehicle, and then had to pass him…)
Wy Wife was driving (delivery kombi), so I confronted him at his PASSENGER window, telling him he could not stop there – SOLID red line AND cones – the cones can be seen in the reflection of his window – a ‘choke-point’ in the Waterfront, right opposite Ferryman’s Tavern and that small underground parking garage…
I did grab the tip of his finger – he shoved it in my direction, close up, and I did NOT take kindly to that. I need to be clear that there was no shouting, nor profanity from my side.
2nd complaint; I took the trouble to report this at 4.05pm Wednesday afternoon – left name, number, spelt out my e-mail address and left drivers vehicle number, yet no reply received, making ME ring YOU! Annoyed!
Cheers, Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good Morning Chris

Have a stunning day.

Ebrahim ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So far, so good!
...and then the OWNER of the business called me, suggested I lay a charge if 'serious' about my complaint, he seemed to speak from pre-prepared text - a diatribe of sorts - 3 mins later I interrupted him, said I need to b e able to speak too, things degenerated a bit, he told me he can see how I might have provoked the driver (!), and carried on talking AT me, and not to me... So GOOD problem resolution from his employee, Ebrahim (I rang him back to compliment him), and the owner undid all his good work, with the parting words "we do not need your type, nor business. Poor show to a valid complaint, with a witness and 2 supporting photographs.
