Not a care in the world for their customers

I've loved the Under Armor brand for years. But my recent experience has been enough for me to say goodbye. No company should get away with treating their customers like this.

First, I tried to purchase clothes in the Waterfront branch. The floor staff were borderline predatory in the "help" they wanted to give me selecting clothes. Then they had to "check the changeroom was clean" whatever that means. Finally, the lighting at the changeroom and the mirror set up was so shocking for a sports brand that's supposed to be about body positivity. I don't know how the shop survives when every crevace of chub is lit up.

So I ordered online. I got an email confirming my order, but that was it... for an entire 7 days. I emailed their helpdesk twice and got no response, so eventually, I picked up the phone and called them. The helpdesk didn't have an answer and loosely imp**** it could have been my fault if I recorded my information incorrectly (I didn't). Then she said she'd phone me back (she didn't). I asked for a channel to log a formal complaint, and she didn't have one. The following day, I received an automated email saying my issue has been escalated.... I still have no idea what's going on. At this point, I only know that 2 weeks ago, a company took a large sum from me, and hasn't delivered any goods nor communicated why. It's starting to feel an awful lot like Under Armor stole my money.

Bottom line, if you're considering Under Armor, don't bother -- go with Nike instead. They actually have some level of customer service.
