Umvuso the Royal **** Up👌👌👌

Please do not join Umvuso! In the beginning of this year I went to see my GP with regards to back pain which I’ve been having for about 2years. I did not think it’s was serious at all seeing that one has after effects of having epidural’s (c/sections x2). My pain became unbearable. My Gp then tried referring me to a specialist. On the day of calling for an authorisation Umvuso’s systems were offline so nothing could be done. The next day I call again so instead of the lady telling me the previous day that I will first need to complete forms for the spinal program and what it entails which I feel was totally uncool. I completed the forms my dr completed his forms, I went for bloods, I went for an X-ray which they did not pay in full because they said it was more then two views of my spine and there was no clear instruction from the medical aid,went to the physio for a report got all the information that the medical aid required, after sending my documents through *** times and reporting these *******s on hellopeter only then my specialist visit was approved. So according to me I was registered to the spinal program which mind you, no one thought to call and explain how the spinal program works. So I went to the specialist on the 18th of April for a consult, he gave me medication 👍🏽 On the 29th April because my back muscles and leg muscles are weak I fell in the shower. So I go to my specialist and medical aid does not want to authorize my admission mind you I’m in terrible pain, could hardly even walk. Go to casualty spent 7 1/2 hours in casualty, the casualty officer advised that I be admitted due to me being in such terrible pain. I felt like I am a beggar like I’m not paying for medical aid. Eventually I get admitted, auth still pending… Mind you completing more spinal program forms🤣😂🤣😂🤣 ****ing hilarious I tell you! The next day my MRI gets approved finally. Drs sending in motivation! Mind you! Oh yah by the way I “received” a call from the medical aid on Monday according to the lady that gave me a call for the first time today… ****ing ****s… I want the recording 🙏 please man. She rather tells me I have unlimited physio visits 🤣😂 if physio doesn’t work do I physically leave my spine at your head office 🥹 So they have this spinal program but no one can tell me what it entails man. She couldn’t explain what it is🤣😂 So my scan clearly shows that I have hemangioma tumour(a tumour that won’t shrink, might stay the same size, might grow rapidly and cause paralysis)on my spine The L3/4 and L4/5 paravertebral joints show some synovial cysts as described. Disc protrusion is shown at the L5/S1 level with pressure on the descending S1 on my nerves (which can cause paralysis) Moghal was more worried about a cyst on my ovary. Telling me to see a Gynae 😂😂🤣🤣 next best thing I’ll be told on the operating table please get up and leave because umvuso said they will not cover for your surgery. You are such ***ards she promised me high and low she will give me a call. I rather got an email mail saying that the auth has been declined. No communication, no nothing a bunch of useless *********** idiots 🤞🏽 I think Wits should terminate you guys! Also I think if your broker had told me that spine issues are an exclusion I would’ve never moved over to Umvuso. I wonder what will happen when you get older🤣😂 they probably won’t cover for your chronic meds, glasses, dentures. We do not join a medical aid just because we join medical aids because we think about when we are older and have chronic illnesses, our bones also degenerate the older we get. I will say this again no one ever bothered to explain the spinal program to me now I’m liable for hospital bills. Good job Umvuso👍🏽
