Umvuso Health is a **** and No help when needed.

My wife has been a member of Umvuso medical aid since 2018. Two week ago she started experiencing abdominal pains and decided to go see a Gynea who informed her that she has a burst cyst and she will need laparoscopic operation.

She informed her medical aid who then told her that this operation is not covered and she will need to send a motivation letter and scan for authorisation from the doctor. The doctor sent that yesterday because he op is scheduled for Friday. She called the entire morning without not help and she went to their offices and still no help. She is in pain and this is a serious operation. This medical aid has bad service and the people working there keep dropping the call.
