PATHETIC MEDICAL AID

Believe me if I could rate them a 0 star I would have. Umvuzo is a great medical aid until a life-threatening condition hits you then they don't authorize this or that.

On Monday 7 October 2024 I must go see a Professor in Pretoria for a hernia that is bothering me now for 3 years. This professor is doing everything in his rooms. So, the rooms gave me 4 or 5 procedure codes that he will use and guess what this excuse of a medical aid only approves one code. But wait the best is still to come.

My procedure for Monday is a in and out. Now the medical aid is not paying for 3 procedure codes so the PROFESSOR can't do a proper evaluation because this pathetic medical aid doesn't approve a mini surgery. So now the PROFESSOR must admit me to hospital. Now I must pay for a day in the hospital, and they must pay for the theater so where is the cost saving coming from now.

I am on the top plan but still they decide what is important and what not.

I did send them a mail on Friday to contact me but until today no body contacted me yet.
