Delayed authorization required urgently

We have been struggling as member and from the drs room to get an authorization for theatre which was scheduled for today after they partially authorized it the dr send more evidence and a detailed motivation for approval and it's still with the medical advisor under review in the que, we had to cancel the procedure today and rebook for Monday but still no authorization, we cannot keep on moving the date as he needs to still recover and get back to work which means that he would have to return earlier due to sick days available and the medical aid taking extremely long with all required documentation to give approval. Each time we call we wait on the line for 30 mins and nothing gets done
