PUT YOUR PATRONS FIRST

On the 6 of December I had a problem with the way the security of the mall conducted himself based on what he claims the center manager had told him to do.

It was a rainy day and we usually bolt to the mall to make some shopping and other stuff and in my surprise when I requested a ride to take me back home I was told that they do not allow any bolt, Uber vehicles to pickup in the mall anymore, we should walk about 800m to the pickup point which hasn't been visible for the patrons to see and also walking to the pickup point there is no shelter so one will find himself or herself very wet from the rain.

When I asked the security he told me that the reason why this decision was taken its because the taxi drivers are complaining, I mean it is my choice as a free South African to choose what mode of transportation I want to use and if the mall cannot allow me to exercise this right I'd rather go and do my shopping elsewhere.

So this very discouraging for me to continue doing my shopping in umphakathi mall because my needs as a customer are not important but the needs of the taxi drivers are more important to them.
