In a world of repair centers, Umklomelo would get a participation trophy... if they ever show up

Umklomelo was contracted by Samsung to repair my fridge, however after 3 visits my fridge is still not working.

Before they pass the buck and blame it on job cards, here is a short history of what happened:

02/02-When they first contacted me they said they are just waiting for parts and would be in contact within 48 hours 06/02-I call them 4 days later and i;m told the parts will arrive that day and a technician will be in contact with me within 24h (I reiterate the fact that I need time to arrange my work so I can be at home) 09/02-Spoke directly with Samsung, told that the parts arrived on08/02 and they will be in contact today (Thursday) or latest Monday 14/02- Contacted Samsung again 'Technician will call out tomorrow' Nothing happened 15/02- Contacted Samsung - It's been escalated, yet they will call out today. Still nobody shows up 16/02- Umklomelo Technician finally calls me - 'we are 20min away from your house' I rush home only for them to say they don;t have the right parts. We arrange for the 20th 20th comes and they 'repair' the fridge again, yet after they leave it still doesn't work -Company then asks me for the proof of Purchase - only to send me a call out quote of R1856.20 to assess the fridge 02/03- They call me and apologize, there was a mix up, we'll come through tomorrow 03/03 - You guessed it, nobody showed up 06/03-Report this to Samsung, however Umklomelo claims they tried to contact me, yet no calls, no email, no WhatsApp Then they just show up at my gate with no appointment, no arranged time, pure luck that my wife got off work early that day They 'fix' the fridge and by some miracle - the fridge still doesn't work

If this company is assigned to do your repairs, rather just take it to someone else and spare yourself the trouble and frustration. I asked Samsung if a different repair service center could be assigned to me, they refused. They had no respect for my time, they made countless empty promises and I wish to never deal with them again.
