Power outage for the past 5 days in Richards bay

The Brackenham, Richards Bay area has been without electricity since Sunday evening. Despite numerous telephone calls and personal visits to the Municipality the residents of Brackenham are still without electricity. Did the municipality send out plumbers to attend to the problem? This is absolutely unacceptable. If we fail to pay our municipal charges on time the municipality will immediately hand us over to attorneys. Will the municipality compensate us for damages caused to our appliances? Will they compensate us for the loss of our perishables? We want this problem resolved immediately and we demand compensation for all loss suffered. It is no fault of ours if *********** people are employed to carry out duties they clearly are not fit to carry out.
