No maintanance of verges and vegetation by umhlathuze municipality in local area

We pay alot of money for service from our municipality, what are we getting in return???. I have been pleading with them to come and cut the trees in front of my property for the past few months. I get empty promisses. The trees have now grown so big that intruders are able to jump into my property from the outside. It has become a security risk. I dont know what else to do. If i get a private person to cut these trees, i could be held liable, also i have to carry the cost for cutting and removal of the trees. What can i do???
