Beware Umhlanga Accommodation

We holiday let an apartment at 604 The Bermudas for a 6 week period through Umhlanga Accomodation . We had to endure 2 weeks of jack hammering in the apartment a few floors above and when we started complaining about the noise we were given all sorts of undertakings that the jack hamering would stop . Well it continued and when we complained that the apartment was not fit for purpose we were assured that we would be moved if the problem was not resolved within a few days .When the problem persisted and we requested to be moved ,they situation was explained that we would have to pay for the new accommodation (in advance -as we had with the original booking ) and we would only receive a refund if the accommodation was resold at a higher rate . We were also promised that the building contractor would come and see us to explain the situation and work progress .We werealso promised a visit by a Body Corporate member .Neither has transpired and we have been left feeling very dissappointed with the ********* and unprofessional way that the matter has been handled .Once you have paid in full up front you essentially find yourself at the mercy of these ********* players . Beware Umhlanga Accomodation .
