If you ever have to reroof your house, be warned about Ultra Pro Roofing. We had to reroof our house in Claremont. We had 2 quotes and because of there. representation and price we choose Ultra Pro Roofing. This was the biggest mistake. They started the job 2 weeks later as promised. It started off with further delay. Excuses were made because asbestos removal company and AIA was also involved. It all got delayed because it was not organized after we accepted the quote and paid the requested deposit on the same day. Every morning they arrived late. The side manager was often not on side and every Wednesday he was gone for meetings. The worst happened after a part of the roof was uncovered and not secured propre with rain protection. The result was pouring rain into the house, damaging ceilings, wooden floors, furniture, cupboards, it was the ultimate nightmare which one can experience. The whole night we tried to prevent with buckets, collecting the rainwater, more damage to the house. Reroofing at least got on the way but deposited corrugated metal sheets on the property got blown around at night in the wind and damaged Neighbours electric fence. At least 3 times parts *****s or tools had to be collected on Neighbours property. Everyday there have been problems to be solved. I ended up after a few weeks with a nerve breakdown. It did not stop there. The roof got finished weeks later. The first windy night blew some facial boards off. Smashing and making noise the whole weekend. At least some got ********** and damaged the other Neighbours electric fence. IT is an endless story the wooden floors are still in progress to be done. It makes it worse because it is a guesthouse forced us to close it longer than expected and loosing 10 thousands of rand. The Job supposed to start on the 27. February now we have mid-June, and the guesthouse must still be closed the floor are not done yet. The recommendation for the flooring Guy from Ultra Pro Roofing is a disaster too. One thing the job was challenging, and they at least did fix the damage caused at their expenses. But all this could have been prevented if the Job would have been done professional from the start.
