Ultimate House, pet and plant Sitters

<p>After having recently been in Cape Town for a week, I felt the responsibility to write a review of a company we made use of whilst we were away, “Ultimate House, Pet and Plant Sitters”. A company that you should question should you consider using them in the future.</p> <p>Whilst everything was above board and we heard fairly good reviews of their services, we should have trusted our better judgement not to use them and here are our reasons why:</p> <p>On arrival of the first “meet and greet” our house sitters met us with a strong smell of alcohol on their breath. It was not a professional impression and left us questioning whether we had made the right choice. With very little time to change our “providers” we foolishly ignored this impression and ran through all the house rules and regulations and left it at that.</p> <p>Upon our return, the house seemed to be in order and our dogs had been fed for the week, however as time progressed we received information from our domestic worker as well as the complex security guards as to what took place in our home and who stayed over without our permission. When we confronted and questioned “Ultimate House, Pet and Plant Sitters” as to what took place in our home, expecting an apology for this blatant disregard of our home, we were given false stories to cover up what we in fact saw as a breach in contract. We then decided to access the security video footage confirming what we had confronted them about. <br /> <br /> Our facilities, consumables and generosity were taken advantage of by whomever decided to stay in our home. We requested a 50% refund for the breach in contract and the main reason it was only 50% was because they did in fact look after and feed our dogs. Unfortunately “Ultimate House, Pet and Plant Sitters” have decided to disregard and ignore all communication with us since we produced hard evidence into their fabricated stories and we have yet to receive our refund as they no longer wish to own up and take responsibility for their actions.</p> <p>One other careless mistake made by whomever decided to visit our home, was one particular individual couldn’t even do us the decency of covering up their tracks by removing the opened Tabs on my wife’s Tablet. She was horrified to find various online gaming and ****ographic sites that were visited whilst we were away. This device was never even offered to them yet they decided to rummage through our draws and make use of whatever they deemed fit as a sense of entitlement.</p> <p>This company, it’s owners and its employees cannot be trusted in your home. They clearly show no respect to rules, regulations, or boundaries.</p>
