Bad service

I Ntandoyenkosi Phylson Zuma, bought a complete engine with injectors from Ultimate German spares that were situated at Alberton North in Johannesburg.. The transaction was on 19/01/17 and payment of R 22000.00 was made via speed point machine, and receipt was issued as a confirmation of payment. The Engine was collected on 20/01/17 not knowing whether the Engine type that was described was not the engine that I was given.

I had trusted Ultimate German spares that the Engine was correct, as they have gave me an assurance that the Engine was the correct one and insisted that they are only specialising on BMW cars.

When we arrived at Pretoria North for Engine placement, The mechanical person at Turbo Segeon where the car was, advised me that, the Engine that I had accepted was not the correct type engine for the car; the engine was for the latest model cars, The machanical person ( Pieter owner of Turbo Segeon) then, advised me to return the engine with the car to ultimate German spares for the correct engine. On 23/01/17 I then went to Ultimate German spares shop to advise them about the incorrect engine that I was given, I then arranged with them to brougth the car and engine back to them for replacing with correct engene. Ultimate German spares accepted the error form their side, and had agreed that I should bring the engine back and car for replacement.

Since I was working and not always around Johannesburg, I then arranged a tow truck to brougth the car with the engine on 03/02/17 and requested to have the car ready by 07/02/17. Ultimate German spares had then advised me that, since they have a lot of cars queewing ahead of my car, they will only have my car ready by 24/02/17.

On the 24/02/17 I went to ultimate German cars, and I was told that they have not yet attended to the car. I had then enquired as why was I not informed so that I would have not have travelled all the way from DBN to Johannesburg, and the response was not satisfactory. I had then tried to speak to the Owner Mr Danie, the phone rang, and they was no response. I had then mentioned that on 31/03/17 I will return to collect the car as 5 weeks would have been sufficient for replacing the correct engine.

On the 31/03/17 the car was still not ready, I had then requested a refund and I was told that, the correct engine will only arrive to their shop on 03/04/17 and the car will then be ready by 08/04/17.

I was then politely requested the receiptionist to inform me before the 08/04/17 of the status of the car before I make arragement for travelling from Durban to Johannesburg since I reside in Durban.

No communciation was received from ultimate German spares since then, up until I had decided to call Mr Danie on his cell phone with no luck on reaching him. I had then requested a family friend from Johannesburg to visit Ultimate German spares on my behalf, on 03/05/17 and his visit revealed that the car was stripped for parts for other cars. He then requested to speak to Danie and he was no way to to found, his cellphone was ringing with no answering.

I had then decided myself to do a visit again on 06/05/17, and I demanded to see my car. I was told that the car was parked at a storeyard and it was locked/ closed, then I would not be able to see the car. I was so upset and tried again to call Danie and they was no answer. I then requested receiptionist ( David) to call him; I was then told that he does not answer calls on Saturdays.

Several phone calls and site visits were made to ultimate German cars with no emacable resolution on the matter, as all the time Danie was not available.

It was then later discovered on a surprise visit that was carried by a family friend with an attempt to meet Danie, that where they used to reside they have moved to a new site, and no cummunicate was made with that effect for site relocation.

With all what has happed, I had then thougth that I was dealing with the *********, to date my car and R 22 000.00 for engine is still with Ultimate German spares. The car was found in a dilapidated state, left with open windows sripped parts.
