<p>Rentalcars.com is a U.K. based company who advertise the prices as THE cheapest.</p> <p>Please be aware they charge a "Refundable Damage Excess" which amounts to around R217.00 per day which needs to be added to their advertised daily rate. After return of Vehicle you are no longer entitled to the "Refundable Damage Excess", which they then claim you paid for "Peace of Mind" also Rentalcars.com have a notification on their invoice stating that they are "Not involved at all" and any disputes are to be taken up with local company (could be one of 4 South African Car Rental Companies) who will then tell you, your contract is with a UK based company. I gave a bad review to Bidvest Car Rental who we ended up getting the car from, and cannot understand why they would not deal directly with the South African Public instead of creating bad reviews, which should not be directed at them</p>
