UIF slow and less than efficient

It seems the UIF is not coping with the task at hand. Of large numbers of applications made, few if any payments have been made. Whilst I can try to understand the magnitude of the task at hand, the poor delayed service casts a bad light on yet another government department that seems to battle to carry out its tasks.
