Don't use UIF Matters

It all started before maternity leave and we contacted UIF Matters. We paid our fees to them to start the claiming process. We then waited for feedback and received it weekly, We then got 2 sms's from the DoL stating that they need documents and some documents were not sent through. UIF Matters assured us the DoL has all the documents. Eventually the Docs reached the Assessor, 2 months later and we were told that the assessor has 35 days to assess the documents. We then got a email from UIF matters, stating that we fall under a new law that the DoL now started. So 70% through the uphill battle, we were told that UIF Matters has to adhere to government regulations and we basically lost our fees we paid to UIF Matters and now we have to carry on the battle for the Maternity Claims by ourselves. I see no reason why UIF Matters should even exist if the DoL has all these new laws in place. it is now 2.5 months later. Thanks for nothing UIF Matters. We could have just as well started this whole process without you in the first place and you got paid as well. Please be careful of companies like these, assisting you with Maternity Claims. They won't be able to do so any longer.
