DO NOT USE UIF MATTERS

We found UIF Matters when they had a stand at the Baby Expo at the Northgate Dome. Stay Very far away from them if you come across them. We paid them to process the UIF claim while my wife was on Maternity leave. We had our child on the 28th of January 2016, submitted all outstanding documentation such as the birth certificate as soon as we received it, which was no later than a week after his birth. 3 months later we still had not heard a word from UIF Matters so we started following up with them, but it was extremely difficult to get hold of anyone, and when we did, to get a response was just as hard. My wife is now back at work and my son is nearly 5 months old, and we haven't received a single payment, and still do not hear from UIF Matters. We have now requested the UIF login details so we can see what is going on, and we have today discovered that the application was cancelled due to UIF Matters not submitting the relevent documents we sent to them, and the birth certificate was only sent to the Department of Labour nearly 3 months after we sent it to UIF Matters.

All I can say is this is clearly the worst service I have ever received and I think it would have been far easier dealing with the Department of Labour ourselves, which is what we are landing up having to do anyway, as the department says there is no UIF claim lodged with them!

We will be requesting a full refund of the fees paid to UIF Matters and taking any legal action neccessary should there be any problem with our claim not being paid by the Department of Labour due to their incompetence.

Mark my words. DO NOT USE UIF MATTERS!

They take your money and you never hear back from them.
