I want to complain about the extremely poor service from UIF Assist. Last year on the 31st August 2022, I have paid the requested R600 for her services and sent her all the documents for my maternity leave claim. From the start she was rude and unprofessional. Till now I haven't receive any confirmation nor money from UIF. I called UIF to follow up on my claim and the lady told me they have only receive my application and no other documents. During the 4 months I've sent her alot of whatsapp messages to find out about the progress of my claim. It was always the same answer : "Not approved yet, I just have to be patient"!! It is more than 4 months later. I have started working again, still no documents at UIF and no pay outs. Really very poor service!!
