UHQ -False displayed prices and products on the shop floor

I was shopping for couches(occasional chairs). When l found the couches l was looking for and wanted to buy from UHQ to be falsely priced on the shop floor. They told me the price displayed is incorrect for the ones on the shop floor, however, they do have a cheaper version of the same couches which l can get on the price advertised. I refused to accept the ones they wanted to offer me from the warehouse and opted to get the ones on the floor at the advertised price. They refused to offer me those ones on the shop floor as well. I then felt that their adverti*****ts and pricing is unfair and misleading. According to their policy terms and conditions, on their website (www.uhq.co.za) It reads; "If the subject matter of the sale is the particular product that is on display in the UHQ showroom as viewed by the customer, then the product is sold to the customer in the specific condition in which it is and the customer agrees to accept the relevant product in that condition" . However, in my situation, they did not honour this policy wording. I strongly feel they are robbing/cheating customers like myself. How can you advertise a leather product at a certain price then when the customer wants to buy it at that particular displayed price, you say sorry it is wrongly priced but we can offer you a cheaper version of the same type of product at the price you saw. Actually, are stores allowed to even do this to customers? Basically, have a **** and an original product same product priced same but when the customer wants the original one(of proper quality) you tell them l will now have to pay more otherwise sorry we incorrectly priced it?

Imagine how many customers buy the same product thinking they are buying a quality product only to be offered the ****(cheaper version of it ). Even worse when you shop online for similar products you can easily be ******/cheated.

UHQ, you are such a disappointment. Please stop what you are doing as l think it is not good practice and it will let you down in the near future. Offer your customers the right product advertised on the floor at the right price. Not have 2 products of the same type then when you have to offer the customer you give them the **** version of the product.

I then left the UHQ shop without buying as l felt l was being cheated. UHQ (120 Victoria Rd, Pietermaritzburg, 320) sorry but respect your customers. UHQ, you should be ashamed of your false adverti*****t on the shop floor. I wonder if the customers who are buying online really know what they are being sold, **** products or original products, l wonder!

Reviewer Update
To UHQ Customer care;

Thank you for your response. I hope you mean your words and it is not just a sympathetic gesture. It is important to not only sell **** products to your customers for the sake of making them have the feel of belonging just because you care about making a profit.

I hope you know the value of customer experience. Please be considerate and sell the right product at the right price. Synthetic to me is just a clever word for saying "****" which is an imitation of the correct product and commonly known as counterfeit products. I can't imagine myself being fooled to buying a **** leather product and then being told it is not **** but synthetic. Anywhere, its your business and you have a choice on what you sell at what price and at what quality you sell it in.

Please update your policies as well as they do not present the response you gave me after realizing your products on the floor were wrongly priced according to your internal pricing schedule.

Thank you for considering my complaint.
