Icabhane soon to be Covid 19 hub!

I am deeply saddened by the lives of our people that are put at risk. I am residing in ward 16 under Umzumbe local municipality, of which Ugu is the district. We are a small community that has been struggling with receiving basic services which we are entitled to SA citizens that partake in activities that are meant to bring about change_ that's voting. By basic I mean water first! There's a whole lot more we're not benefing from but the issue of water is devastating! We never had water in the area! We do have a few tanks here and there, but there is no use for these tanks as water is only delivered once in 3 months, yes, once in 3 months- and only when you call the counsellor to ask for water. In this time of Covid 19 where we have to rely on water to keep safe, how is this community going to survive this? No one is saying anything about this! We fetch water from the ponds where animals drink too! My heart bled when I took pictures of the river we use to fetch water! This is not life! We are crying out for help! Icabhane will be the hub of Covid 19 if this is not attended to soon!!!!!
