Disappointment with UD Truck Boksburg

<p>We sent out truck in for a quote on repairs needed due to our truck's engine having no power. On finishing the quote we were handed a R3000+ fee for providing us with a quote, and refusing to release our vehicle unless this amount was paid in full. This fee was not communicated to us in advance and we only get a 101 point check document and no quote as yet. It is with great disappointment that such a "professional" dealer would use this method to haggle fees from their clients. On further investigation all other dealers dont charge a fee on quotation unless we specify having the vehicles stripped and checked. And even this would cost at most R1800 with 3 hours labour involved. Sadly we would no longer trust such a corporation in future and warn others to be aware of such fees in case you fall under the same trap.</p>
