UCTOHS - Our new “norm”

Since joining UCTOHS last year, my son took time to adjust to the new system being other than the “norm” ie traditional schooling. His first year was not easy. He not only had to adjust socially on a personal basis, but also the system. He is now starting matric this year with a confidence in himself that I believe has resulted in the challenges he overcame last year being his first year with UCTOHS. I fee the system kind of prepares them for university in terms of, many things are on them, to keep up and succeed. No teachers constantly reminding them to keep up. His support coach was amazing in terms of being there for him, and me, always answering questions promptly and with patience and grace. His twin brother will also be joining the school this year too. We are very happy we decided to join UCTOHS, not to mention how it helps financially.
