UCT online high school incompetence causing learners to emotional distress

I have enrolled my son in UCT online high school for 2023 grade 11, it was all smooth until time for test and exams which me and my son was particularly anxious over as its his first year online schooling. My nightmare started after my well prepared son informed me 30min prior to the test that his encountering technical difficulties. I tried to help and after 10min we decided to reach out to UCT for assistance. They only responded 5min before the test and we missed the start of the test. UCT then further refused the differed test shifting blame that our fault and we reached out 5min before while that's only when the responded cos we reached out 20min before. This is causing so much tension and anxiety in my home as my son really prepared and try to up his marks from last term but now feels discouraged and anxious it might happen again. Rather then working with us to solve technical issues UCT chose to shift blame. So disappointed 😞
