UCT online high school

My child has been with UCT online school for the past two years. Yes there were some teething problems as is the situation with most schools but the difference was the school did a survey and asked for feedback as to how they could improve. Both my child and I are very happy that the school took suggestions from the students and parents and implemented them. The support coaches we had both years are awesome and quick to respond to both student and parent. The well being support team is absolutely amazing. They are quick to reach out if you ask for assistance and provide great counselling, support and teach stress relief techniques that really help. I love the parent app that we can install on our phones which give us updated feedback on our child’s progress. It also alerts us to assignment due dates and if our child has missed a deadline or fallen behind. The support coach also reaches out should this happen to see if a student needs assistance. The fact that the school provides the relevant content and your child will never miss an important lesson ever as all content is online. That’s one of the best benefits in comparison to a brick and mortar school where should you have been absent you missed the teacher’s actual lesson. This will never happen at UCT online as your lessons are loaded and available wherever and whenever you need them. Yes there is a lot of work but modules are released weekly which gives students flexibility to draw up their own individual schedule which they can then use to meet their deadlines. My child loves her school and she as well as we as parents are proud to be part of the UCT online high school family. The school has really made my child more independent, responsible and mature. She has made great friends at her school as well.
