UCT Online High - A forward thinking School that challenge the old brick and mortar approach

UCT Online high is not a normal high school its better. This is a school that teaches students to be self-disciplined and learn like a university student. For many it’s a whole new approach to schooling, but if you want your child to go to university why not prep them to start learning and thinking that way. This has been a massive blessing for our son. He is more positive, forced to take responsibility and think for himself rather than parrot fashion learning of tradition schools. This approach to learning makes you take ownership of your future not just leave it in the hands of teachers who may or may not like you.

So many negative reviews here, but for all the wrong reasons like finance or students not putting in the work or not using the resources given to them properly. This is not a school for students or parents who don't take initiative and expect to not be involved. If you follow the instructions and guidelines given and actually implement them you will do well.
