UCT OHS - different but in a good way
After receiving disappointing news that our son wasn’t placed in any of our neighbouring schools for 2023, we faced a dilemma on what to do next. After some thought and research, we cautiously settled on UCT Online High School, as some sentiments were glum (to say the very least).
Half a year in we can now confidently say that choosing UCT Online High School was the correct decision. It was a challenge adapting at first for my son, but once he got used to this new way of learning, it was smooth sailing.
As full-time working parents the tools and support teams the school offers to parents has made visibility over our son’s academic progress a breeze.
My message to prospective parents is that this is not the schooling we grew up with and might not be for everyone, but, we have been happy so far!
